Filipino Nurses Organization of Hawaii 44th Annual

The Bristol Hospice Hawaii Team attended and supported the 44th Annual Filipino Nurses’ Organization of Hawaii at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

A night filled with great company and great people who provide great care to our local community.

A night to honor and celebrate all the new graduates of Nursing.  And Award those who exemplify what it means to be a Nurse.

Also, it was a night to welcome and induct all the new Board of Directors (Congratulations to ALL)

Mahalo for a great evening.

The Hope Lodge

The Bristol Hospice Liaison Team had such a great evening at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 12th.
It took our whole team coming together to make this dinner happen. We cooked and served up a Taco Bar for the guests and staff at the Hope Lodge. Dinner was enjoyed by about 40 people. The tacos bar was a big hit and everyone loved the flan. Our team has been invited back for another fun night of dinner, community, and support!
Hope Lodge
The American Cancer Society has a place where cancer patients and their caregivers can find help and hope when home is far away – an American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients 18 and older and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Currently, there are more than 30 Hope Lodge locations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Accommodations and eligibility requirements may vary by location.

Game night at Camp Anuenue

Aloha,

We had another successful night at Camp Anuenue! (Camp for Kids with Cancer)

Volunteers at Camp Anuenue

Jomel Duldulao (Director of Community Relations) from Bristol Hospice Hawaii had so much fun at game night hosted by the leaders of Men’s Leadership of Hawaii. MLH has led the game night for the past 15 years.

The evening started with prepping food, serving the kids great food and a game night filled with larger than life games – like jenga, connect four, toss the ring and many more.

Thanks to Evan Knight for leading our team this year and making the most of the games.

Bristol Hospice Jomel Duldulao (Director of Communication Relations) was able to volunteer his time again this year and donate some of the many prizes with the continued support of Bristol Hospice Hawaii.

The kids had fun being kids.

Also a big thank you to the wonderful cheerful staff at Camp Anuenue and allowing us to support such an awesome event.

Win – Win ❤️
